A film that will definitely make you re-think romance in your own life.

I went in blind with Eternal Sunshine, and was not expecting the genre it would be or direction it would take outside of romance. Turns out there are some very serious depressing themes underlying the story that are sure to make you feel a little existential in terms of your love life.

    ★★½

As a lover of quality Japanese animated films, I thought I would go in blind with NiNo Kuni after seeing it was on Netflix. I had high hopes for the film since the director (Yoshiyuki Momose) had worked on some of Studio Ghilbi's best films. While I was a bit disappointed with some elements of the film, it was still a whimsical tale that I enjoyed.
My biggest problem with the film was probably its design. The anime style didn't…
