Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of my favorite actors which is why I watched this. It depicts cancer in a way that is serious enough to not be shallow yet not too overdramatic. Though it fails to find a proper tone and generally just made me feel like I was watching a plot being told and not sitting through and experience.
