Amazing. Starkly different from the rest in terms of visuals and almost no audio. The unsaturated yellow tones bring quite the atmosphere into the episode as a whole. Does a great job of exploring the (de)humanization of perpetrator/victims, and a brief, but nice commentary on the concept of capital punishment.
This is what the zone of interest should have been. Simple, yet effective.
I've seen people complain that thr movie doesn't hit as much if you don't know the story. That's the point. The passangers on the train didn't know what was going to happen, they found out days later in the news, just like you find out 3 min later on Wikipedia.
The scenography is unbelievebly on point, it is a 1/1 replica of the "train in ex-Yu country" experience, with music, fashion all following through.
The movie is very uncomfortable, but in an easy and flowy way.
Its like saying "lets take all thoughts people in their mid 20s have and make a person out of them"
