Bong joon-ho is politically relevant as per usual with this one being particularly consistent on the satire - still some very grim themes (heavy on the colonisation theme) but the comedy felt well balanced and remained throughout the film. R Patts slayed his performance the house down, that accent worked so well great work!!
On another note I do feel like some themes/storyline’s were left unexplored and brushed over a bit, such as Mickey’s mental health and his potential schizophrenia? The last scene with Elfa felt a bit forced but other than that I really enjoyed the film and what it had to offer!
