It’s a lot. Too much. Good story. well acted but expected a lot of the viewer. Needed more music for a movie about an obsessive musical genius, but I understand it was also a portrait of a flawed fanatic. In that regard it succeeded but perhaps lost impact with subplots and near freaking three hour run time. I also wasn’t ready for SUCH a slow pace. Yet, perhaps in a more appreciative mood I’d have found it all more appreciable. Nonetheless, it only evoked so much with so much.
