  A sense of gentle hypnosis is juxtaposed by immense climax and conflict. Dazzling grandeur, world building on a gigantic scale, a creeping feeling of being lost in the desert. Cutting although surface level commentary on both the political and the spiritual. Occasionally relies on visuals to bring viewers through low stakes periods and has a very brief period of losing itself in the middle. Dialogue delivery is pretty imperfect at times. Overwhelming, beautiful visuals and all encompassing, awe inspiring sound. Emotional gut punch ending. I'll find this very memorable, I think, and I can't wait for the next one.

  I think that this is a well constructed movie about addiction with strong performances from the main cast and beautiful cinematography throughout.

  The direction lacks a personality and grit, while it instead serves to cast light on the beautiful and almost serene array of colours and settings that the story exists within.
