writing this review for my friend miokii because this is her favorite movie. shoplifters is so quiet - it's the unsaid that speaks volume and really grips your attention. in fact, the unsaid is the whole subject of the movie... secrets, given names, and bodies. i found that really striking as someone who's constantly anxious about the unsaid!!
