Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
Just as whimsical as ever, Danny elfman on the score and an ensemble cast from the original film. I’m glad they stuck to the original set designs and campiness just as much as the original. Would’ve given it a 5 if they didn’t waste the main antagonist plot for no payoff in the end, but Monica Bellucci’s talents sadly only went to looking mother and serving up looks but that’s just about it. If you’re in for pure nostalgia yes this is definitely a watch, you’ll have a good time

Immediately as soon as the plot started to unveil itself in the first half I seen the resemblance to the original “Hellraiser” film! With a spin of campiness, add 80’s nostalgia with a stranger things aesthetic we have “Lisa Frankenstein”. If you’re in for an overall fun of comedy horror, this is the film for you. Had a good time from start to finish.

When into the film with no expectations, coming out of I have so many emotions that’s hard to put into words due to me digging deep into my own childhood trauma and moving forward past it.
