  This film was like a labyrinth where around every corner was some new inventive, eye-catching sights to see. This may be Osgood Perkins most accessible film. There wasn't as much of the oppressive atmosphere that was in Blackcoat's Daughter. However, it more than makes up for it with its painterly eye for detail, truly feeling like illustrations out of the storybook it was based on.
