When I first heard that No Other Land was co-produced by both Palestinians and Israelis, I questioned my moral ground in watching this film. Finally, after 1 year of delaying finishing this movie, i made it.

This movie (and other typical minimalistic movies) can be very challenging for those who are not into slow cinema.

At first, I thought i will be dissatisfied with its pace, its characters (that look stiff and unrealistically lifeless), its absence of presenting 'drama', etc.

But now it feels soothing and reasonable. The pace of this movie shows what life actually is: slow and somehow meditative.

Some people just aim to live their life : in the land they belong to, in an 'old fashioned way' where modernity doesn't intertwine that much.

This movie has simple plots with smart & smooth gestures of socio-political issues within. I love the details of their everyday-life captured in the movie. It's actually philosophical yet this movie delivers it in an easy and simple way, enriched by its music soundtrack and beautiful sceneries of a village.
