  I definitely recommend watching this before Anora to see how Sean Baker does films. It felt a little Gummo to me. I also just feel for people that are constantly in the hustle and trying to make ends meet. A definite twist to the end but I did love the kids and Willem Dafoe. He played such a different role than he’s played.

  Went in knowing nothing, I felt it was a Black Mirror episode but in a movie. Acting was great, story was fun. Would recommend. Sophie Thatcher is the best robot.

  Must say Zoe Saldana deserves to win the Oscar. I did like the musical “ light” aspect and the idea. But it was a little confusing towards the end and unfortunately I’m bummed that the main actress turned out to be a racist in real life. I thought it was worth a watch tho.

  So accurate with the life of being a dancer at a club. Mickey had such a natural acting ability and believable character in this. Love Neon films, loved this movie
