open to interpretation. for me; the story line makes sense in 2 or more aspects. one being that John G did in fact kill his wife, the only problem with this being that Lenny seems to have assimilated Jimmy’s life i.e his car and suit however this would further confuse the role of Natalie’s life in the movie(was Jimmy abusing her, why did she need Lenny in her life as much as he was impersonating her boyfriend. and Dodd?!!!)
