Very nice film.
Thought the acting was top tier and the film carried the intense momentum for the full 3 hours. The anticipation of the H-bomb was ever present with the difference in mindset es from the skeptics, to the certain it really asked the watcher. Will this work?
It kept me enticed the entire time. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I’d add more to the review, but I did watch it a while back.

Dune: Part Two 2024
It was aight.
Thought the acting was great but the plot was lacking, admittedly I did watch the first dune in 2021 leaving a 3 year gap this afffecting my judgement.
The music was incredibly daunting and kept you in touch with the movie, but the plot was a major let down.
I would say that the shots were quite lovely, it just focused too much the mystical ways of the blue water and other randomness.
3 hours is far too long a movie with far too little substance, I truly believe if you cut out the first 1hr it would have been a decent movie.

300 2006
Tidy movie.
At the end of the day movies are supposed to make memorable moments and sit in your mind for days later. That’s exactly what 300 does. From “this is Sparta” or “madness?” Or even “we’ve brought more men, men! AHU AHU AHU”.
The visuals were incredibly unique and it truly felt that we had traveled in the blunderbuss hundreds of years back.
It epitomises male cowardice vs male dominance. It wasn’t unrealistic! 300 men have been known through history to maul thousands and so yes it’s remarkable but realistic too.
