The only redeeming quality about this film is the set design. But even that isn't something I haven't seen elsewhere.
Just when I thought Deathproof couldn't have anymore camera shots of feet, this movie stumbled onto the big screen. Once Upon a Time does contain some of the tropes of a Tarantino film and the A-list acting was great. But the ramshackle narrative, and a disappointing part on the Director, leads me to believe this film will inevitably be buried in the cranial archives of 'forgotten ever after'.

Uncut Gems is a great reflection of the rat race people experience on a daily basis. Fractured conversations, phone calls while pacing restlessly and weighing himself on a bathroom scale, club brawls at night and shouting during the day. You truly get the sense that time never really stops for Howard, the jeweller.
