This film is an incredible confluence of points of personal intrigue. Scarface, Berserk, Bowie, De Palma, folklore. De Palma's creativity and gall remind me of both Kentaro Miura and David Bowie on so many levels. But the fact that he was even able to get this project made is wild, but speaks to the times. It serves as a meta commentary, not so subtly, on so many current topics…
