one of the most soul-crushing endings of all time i must say. nina hoss’ performance is one of the most subtle yet powerful i have ever seen.. her eyes leads the story through all the stages of grief, pain, hope, love, despair, contempt.. i honestly feel sad for those who never got to watch this or any of petzold filmography, one of the greatest out there for sure
