  The Neon Demon is not for everyone and has some flaws, but worth seeing if you're intrigued by it. It's different, provocative, visually stunning, and a memorable cinematic experience overall. It's not nearly as disturbing as some reviews make it out to be, and I kind of wish I went into it blind without reading up on it too much. So see it if it piques your interest; it'll certainly make for a lively discussion afterwards.

  *Great* action flick set against a truly dark & sadistic criminal
  drug/child exploitation/ organ harvesting enterprise.

  Minus 1/2 star for the schmaltzy melodramatic K-drama flashbacks, but plus 1/2 star for the magnetic Won Bin and Thanayong Wongtrakul delivering beautifully bad-ass performances as ruthless (but principled) killing machines.
