One of the most disgusting and fun movies I've ever seen.

Would have loved to be able to see this one with a big crowd. Instead it was myself and my husband trying to control our laughter and glee while the 3 other people in our theater sat quietly. I can't believe a movie like this was even made, but im absolutely thrilled it was.

This is my 3rd watch of The House by the Cemetery and I still don't know if I love it or hate it. The only thing I know for certain is that Bob is the most punchable child in the history of movies yet at the same time, he's the main thing that makes this worth watching.

"Do you think it remembers me?"

It doesn't matter how many times I see this movie, I always break down and cry when I hear that line.
I can't think of a single thing I don't love about The Life Aquatic. It's so charming and heartbreaking, the cast is perfect, the music is perfect, and (like most Anderson movies) its fun and beautiful to look at.
And how often do you get to see Bill Murray  and Willem Dafoe being this adorable?

    Longlegs

    ★★★★½

I went into this one with high expectations and wasn't let down at all.
The amount of restraint Oz Perkins has in directing is really impressive and the way he holds back in some scenes makes it even more unsettling when certain characters (I'll let you guess who) are allowed to let loose.
I can see some people not liking this for some of the creative decisions that are made, but it all really worked for me and I have a feeling this will be one that sticks with me for a long time.
