  WELP. I HAVE A NEW COMFORT MOVIE. This movie felt so raw in so many ways despite its wacky use of mixed media and raunchy jokes. I loved it so much and I cried three (3) times. I love when media talks about how muddled your childhood can be when you're queer. I loved it in I Saw the TV Glow and I loved it here. I love the commentary on American comic book archetypes. I love how different types of trauma and toxic relationships was written. I loved the main character so much. Idk, this movie moved me in ways I didn't expect it to.
