  Stopmotion 2023

  I saw this and was instantly intrigued as I love stopmotion animation, this is a blend between the two and was done well. It is a very slow burn and not quite a horror film but more of a film about mental health issues and the effect on people. There is body horror whish was gross (to me at least). I don't know if I would recommend this film to anyone as a "good watch" but I did like it…

  The Boy and the Heron 2023

  First off, the sound in the movie theater was off and secondly I saw the dubbed version. With that said, Ghibli's dubbed versions are always excellent and maybe even better than the subbed.

  This movie was so much better than the last installments in the Ghibli line up. It deals with heavier subjects as loss and mourning and I think it is a movie I will have to watch again to truly appreciate everything.

  Highly recommend if you like Miyazaki films.

  This movie was so bizarre in such a great way, it is hard to describe. Sean Penn as an aging goth sort of what makes this movie for me-- but the portrayal hoe does is pretty good, it's sad. It has been awhile since I saw it and I am def putting it on my to watch again list. I am curious to see how it holds up and what I think of it now.
