This started good and I hoped for something unique, I expected more of a focus on the philosophy and emotions that surrounded him being an expendable, a clone of himself, dying. When the movie showed that each clone clearly has different varying traits, when Mikey 18 has such a personality clash with Mikey 17 I really wanted thid angle to be explained and explored more which never happened. The movie melted into something samey and predicable as a plot line though remained fun due to Patterson himself mostly.

The Monkey 2025
I went to a 'mystery new horror film' screening a few drinks in and didn't expect to be snickering the majority of the runtime. I was sceptical because longlegs didn't quite work for me but this was entertaining and absolutely ridiculous. Wasn't one that I'd have gone to see from the trailer but I'm glad of having seen it.
