I can't believe I had deprived myself of this movie for so long. Why did I not watch this earlier.
The costumes are immaculate. The attention to detail and the world building suggested merely through a built up collar... every scene is so gorgeous and fascinating, no second is gone to waste.

Last minute watch in theaters before the Oscar's tonight. It was good! Not as good as I expected though. It's always a treat to see nyc in films, especially Coney Island in winter.

It's beautiful. Dream like and evocative. The actress deserves all the flowers and more. I loved the scene at the ice cream shop. The 2014 scenes threw me off though and I'm not sure I agree with the stylistic choice. I thought it was jarring and took away more than it added! Sue me.
