I always love this movie and I always forget how much. The music is phenomenal and the story is captivating. Who doesn’t love a good mother daughter reconciliation?
In all seriousness, this movie was great for its time, and got a lot of backlash from people who obviously didn’t get the point. Too many people were mad about Merida never marrying, and that tells me that all they took away from their watch was “wow a bear”.Translated from by

“So much for the cat and mouse shit”
This movie well and truly had me hooked (ha, get it). There was zero and I mean ZERO messaging that stuck with me but the visuals and the practical effects will haunt me for centuries to come. I only wish that the story made me feel any sympathy for the characters; they were introduced as victims and therefore I pity them when they meet their demise.
