A decent animated family movie. The overall theme of the movie is overcoming your fears. The main character Orion learns to face his fears even if he is still scared of them. The animated visuals were alright, I found the opening act and the end credits with the sketchbook illustrations to my favourite aspect of the visuals. Paddington 2014
I liked Paddington a lot more than I expected, I really liked the cinematography and camera work of this film, the set design was also visually pleasing to look at, and the special affects were looked believable. The humour wasn’t laugh out loud funny but was still enjoyable and the overall plot was a simple and sweet story with extra plot points to keep things interesting. I would say this movie can be enjoyed by anyone and is perfect for general audiences. This movie has a lot of charm, it has a great sense of joy and whimsy.

A Taxi Driver 2017
A great movie to watch, a compelling story about a Korean taxi driver in need of money getting involved with a German reporter who wants to document protests occurring in Gwangju. The movie does a good job at portraying characters and their motives. I liked the main character and could emphasize with how he might have felt realizing how heavy the situation he was really in.
