  Let's ignore the holes in Basquiat's biography. To take such a beautiful and talented character, to hire such a fantastic cast and to turn it into a mediocre (at best) film. No visual connection to artist's work, no truth to his memory or story. Just plain old story about fame, friends and social issues of 80's US of A. Freaking shame. Disappointed as an art historian and as a human.

Following
