  My Dinner with Andre 1981

  This is one of those movies that feature 2 characters and meaningless cameos from extras. Like Hard Candy but under very different conditions. An unsuccessful playwright is meeting for dinner with an old colleague. This is a 2 hour uncut conversation. That’s the movie. What they talk about is so powerful that it’s hard to consider it a casual conversation. It’s a profound movie about 2 people at 2 different places in life dissecting life itself via a 2hr debrief with philosophical pivots. 10/10.
