The first time I watched 'Oppenheimer', I did enjoy it, however I came out feeling slightly underwhelmed. I had problems with the pacing and the scope of the film, and my initial reaction was that, while it was a brilliant visual and audio spectacle touching on fascinating figures from a crucial period of time, it didn't quite achieve what I had perhaps anticipated in terms of making an important statement on the war and the dropping of the atomic bombs.…
Genius filmmaking. The level of minute detail and cross-referencing throughout is extraordinary. There are so many seeds planted, each with their own possible explanations and theories branching-off, many contradictory but each equally valid, depending on what you want to believe.
