Blind bought this from Vinegar Syndrome at Horrorhound, and wow…what a piece of shit. You’d think the premise of Mexican Chucky would be wild and crazy, but this was boring and slow. There were barely any kills, hardly any blood, and not many laughs. I was at least expecting a so bad it’s good, but this was just bad. What a waste.

The Karate Kid Part II 1986
Part of my ongoing series rewatch to prime for Cobra Kai.
I think this is my second time watching part 2, and while it’s enjoyable overall, it’s definitely not as memorable as part 1. It’s cool to see where Mr. Miyagi comes from, and also get more life lessons. Man that dude is patient and all about forgiveness. We could all use more of that.
The ending isn’t as memorable, besides the fighting to the death part. Who would have guessed that Daniel and Chozen would end up being friends and allies after this?

Vegas Vacation 1997
Had it’s funny moments, but nearly as many as Christmas Vacation, and way less charm. I did enjoy seeing Clark constantly lose money at the casinos.

The Stylist 2020
The female version of Maniac, but less sweaty.
I really liked the look of this movie. Claire’s style, her look, and her house were all big positives. You could feel for her being so lonely and socially awkward. This starts and ends with a bang, but dragged some in the middle. Speaking of the ending, while telegraphed some, it was still a nice shocker. I only wish we got a little more back and forth and an explanation from Claire. I assumed she was in love with Olivia, not that she was so much jealous of her life 🤷🏻♂️.Translated from by
