Another revered movie that’s as good as they say. Well performed, well staged, thought-provoking, the works (Also absolutely flies by).
I’m becoming self-conscious I’ve been rating things too highly like maybe I like the movies too much, or maybe I watch too many good movies. But how do you know a good movie is truly good if you don’t really watch any bad ones?
I’m losing my critical edge, it’s slipping I feel it. I need to watch something reprehensible to gain it back, it’s the only way to fix me.

2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
Last time I saw it was about six years ago, and I’m still struck by how, despite nearly every image kinda being lodged in my mind, it’s still just as impressive to witness as the first go around.
But in that regard, I’m really not saying anything new. Just an affirmation that it’s really that good.
