Dramatic telling of a key turning point in 20th century global history that deserves more circulation 80 years later. The actual bomb scene from the New Mexico testing during the Manhattan Project was phenomenal, it’s almost even worth the 3 hours of politics surrounding it. Great, great cast makes up for the dry conversations. So much talk about the ethics after-the-fact (with little resistance before) — perhaps there could’ve been more a way to intertwine empathy for the victims alla…
