i bloody loved it. i had a lot to say but now i can’t remember. it had a lot of different plot lines whatever you call it going on some of which were left less developed than i would’ve liked but then the film would’ve been 5 hours long so i think they did the right thing here and it was right up my street.

perfectly unserious and i liked that it wasn’t quite tarantino but had the same air of comedic, exaggerated gore. like it was more toned down to match the idea of the monkey being a toy and the childishness you know. a simple plot i guess but it was a short story originally. i liked it. to quote a friend “a movie that fits my weirdness”.
