Vertigo had me absolutely gripped from around the 30 minute mark and onwards; I love the premise, the location, and was not only entertained, but also actually caught off guard by the twists and turns towards the end, which I was not expecting for a film of its age. Scottie's obsession is also one of the most deplorable character features I've seen in cinema, starting to physically repulse me as it kept on exponentially worsening.
