    For me it’s the weakest of the X trilogy. While it carries on the themes of the cost of fame and time, narratively it doesn’t feel as strong as a cap to the trilogy. I guess it’s because it truly feels like an epilogue. Pearl and X are obviously connected and work well together, but Maxxxine ends up feeling disconnected from the rest.
