The pacing is weird in this one. I feel like they show too much early on, but the plot is also kinda slow. Still, has lots of amazing visuals, spectacular moments, and powerful performances. A cut above the typical horror fluff. (I definitely felt some influence from The Exorcist.)

I was really on the same page as Anora the whole time with our shifting perception of who’s the biggest scumbag. It all builds up to a deep, unique type of heartbreak. Thank god the academy is full of perverts; I think this deserved the Best Picture win from what I saw last year.
