The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
if you’re a Mario Nintendo fan (super Mario bros, Mario kart, DK, Mario party) you will enjoy this movie. This movie is a visual and musical (Koji Kondo!) homage to its existing fanbase (myself included). Standalone is likely harder to watch. Plot and (intentionally) flat characters aside, it was visually stimulating and an easy lighthearted movie.
