This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Okay, perhaps obviously, this movie is actually really terrible. The (inadvertent) brilliance of it comes from the absurd script and direction, that lends the proceedings a surreal kind of nonsensical nightmarish quality, so the film plays more like a satire or deconstruction of horror film more than anything.
For example, a character is revealed, nearly midway through the film, to have been there on the beach *the whole time*, until then unnoticed by *any* of the other characters. One early…
