  A miniseries about a famously charismatic designer and the famously charismatic people in his orbit delivered with the least amount of charisma possible. Shein Elsa Peretti and Temu Liza Minnelli not as offensive as whatever Ewan McGregor is doing here, because he should know better. One star for his sunglasses and Kelly Bishop.

  Middling Bollywood version of "Knives Out", made worse by the inexplicable decision to turn Vidya Balan's character in a savant, a deadened portrayal which numbed what could have been an entertaining rip-off.

  Watched this on release, and again recently on a plane on the way to Yokohama (since it’s set in Yokohama). Fatphobic beyond belief, and irredeemable as a result even with real charm from Andy Lau and Sammie Cheng. The real tragedy is that I’m pretty sure this could get made again in Hong Kong today.
