  Maybe a couple engaging scenes with the guy from breaking bad and… I’m not sure what else. But the ending was like a melodramatic Call of Duty, cut scene. I couldn’t suspend my disbelief with how silly the fighting looked for some “grounded” depiction of war.

  I’ve watched five Miyazaki movies now, and I have to admit: they are mega overrated. I’ve tried to convince myself each time that they were interesting and worth watching, but they’re all just vibes-based. The worlds are pretty, but they seem to be pulled straight out of his dreams.

  These movies overall are actually like dreams—a vague plot that your mind could cook up that would probably only be plausible or engaging in that moment.
