Not really a fan of the way the movie treats disabled people. I mean, as a disabled person, if I could, I would like to just get rid of my disability without any judgement and almost every other disabled people I know would do so, but it doesn't means we don't accept ourselves as we are or something like that, it just means that we want do live our lives without the issues that come with having a disability.
That discourse of "don't seek treatment" sounds kinda pathetic, unrealistic and almost harmful.
