Pulse 2001
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The internet has become a confusing maze where humanity dissolves into digital fragments, like a dark mark on a wall, disappearing as hidden horrors come to light. This unsettling shift represents the transformation of human consciousness and connection into the digital age. Shadows close in, merging physical bodies with the digital realm, while souls sadly transfer to screens and minds decay. The static noise grows louder, screens flicker and expand into a vast void that seems to cry out for help, a plea to alleviate our loneliness.

James McAvoy's portrayal of 9 alters within a patient suffering from a split personality is unparalleled, offering an extremely captivating performance. Anya Taylor-Joy also delivers a typically strong performance.
However, despite these promising ingredients, the plot severely disappoints. The potential for a standard, albeit uninspired, thriller is ruined by an unnecessarily convoluted narrative. Cure 1997
The way the movie ends really sums up how I feel about it. I'm curious and entertained throughout, wanting to learn more. But just when I'm expecting some answers, it stops. I'm left with lots of questions and feeling confused.
I'm torn because on one hand, I want the movie to give me more to think about, but on the other, I crave some closure. Still, there are moments where I'm completely hooked by what the film is trying to do, However I feel like the movie could have picked up the pace a little.
