I read the book in anticipation of this movie and all that did was left me wondering what was left on the cutting room floor. There was very little of the philosophical discussion or even really the emotional core of the book. The creepers had some pretty significant changes made as well.
I enjoyed it overall, but a swing and a miss as far as adaptations go
