This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Where to start with this disaster of a film? Maybe it’s the direction which only an amateur dramatics society could be proud of. None of this is helped by Gal Gadot who presumably will continue to never bother an awards ceremony as she “acts” her way around various character parts. At least with Wonder Woman she just had to wear a skimpy dress and react to some CGI.

When the first Lego Movie came out, it partly worked because at the beginning of the film, they made sure you realised that the film world was indeed that plastic brick toy that you played with. Here we are again with a toy showing us how their world really is the world of make believe. A quick note to the teams of people preparing to churn out the next 20 Mattel films - this only works for so long.
