This was decent, maybe even just ok. I liked seeing Vancouver semi-poorly disguised as Los Angeles but it’s a small budget movie so I can’t fault them for not having the money for better location scouting.
I also really liked Ray Nicholson, he was funny and did a great job of portraying someone who is extremely mentally unstable. The actor who played the female French lunatic was also good. Samara Weaving was the same as always. I really like her…
Excellent Irish horror/suspense film. The filming and cinematography are stunning. Love how they captured the forest both day and night - very beautiful yet ominous.
It’s a film with a message. Global warming, capitalism and deterritorialized spaces.
It’s slow, but not boring. Really poignant, occasionally artsy film with some interesting effects. Though if you get seizures from flashing lights then this might not be the movie for you.
Terrific film. So beautifully shot and directed. Truly amazing scenery and acting. Love that Kevin Costner used his own money to make this film. Shows the film is a true labor of love for the craft of filmmaking. 10/10!

Awesome film!
But first, Presence is not a horror movie - it’s not the frightening film some people online claimed it to be when it initially premiered at the festivals. This is a ghost story told from the POV of the ghost that is more creepy than scary.
Personal note: I really need to stop listening to strangers on Twitter who make false comments about films like “people walked out,” “people passed out,” or “someone threw up during the screening”.…
