Soooo silly and fabulous. I do think British satire could be projected onto any setting and it turn out hilarious.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025
Not to be dramatic, but that was lowkey my favourite bridget… Cried a LOT 🩷 whole film is about dealing with grief, different vibe to the other films, but works so well. Beautiful

Jane Austen, she just gets it. Beautifully shot film, yearning of all time from Mr Darcy. Although I don’t think MM holds a candle to Colin Firth goated level socially awkward yearning in the 1990s series… soz. Also did not realise that every famous British actress and their aunt is in this film???? Including Judi Dench who literally does play the aunt
