  eventhough I felt no attachment to these characters- I can see why they were made dislikeable- I think alot of college and highschool relationships go like this- both sides are young and naive and toxic relationships are pretty common- and though there's really no plot it kinda just entails a relationship and that's it- and in a way there's something enjoyable for seeing something just as it is.

  at first I was like oh no- what is this 23 yr old druggo doing. But the characters really grow on you- they have dimension and depth- it's no fault in your stars romance- it delves into the emotions and actions of everyone affected by Milla' s cancer.

  Rewatching this film made me question alot of things- both of the love interests didn't make much sense- and the final essay wasn't as deep and 'coming of age' as I remembered.

  The final scene really captures this movie in all its absurdity. Wanda gives birth instantly in a car with Johnny Depp lying on the roof. The car is going full speed towards the Squares. Who will win this wild game of chicken? Well the Squares pull away at the last minute crashing into a barn or something. And Alison goes flying through the air to land in Depps arms. The camera zooms in to show their faces crying 2 tears of happiness- instead of a singular tear of course. And then we are left with the credits.
