Dune: Part Two 2024
A fantastic sequel to the first movie which really moves away from the world building of the first movie and gets the ball rolling (arguably too fast) on the action and storyline of Herbert’s first book.
You can tell just how much Villeneuve relished the opportunity in this film to really let this own brand of cinematography shine through. The shots of Giedi Prime were the jewel in the crown of the film’s stylised cinematography, the monochromatism of these scenes…

Loving Vincent 2017
The most visually beautiful film I will probably ever see. Inspired me to go to the Van Gogh immersive experience the week after watching. The voice performances are also brilliant, Chris O’Dowd killing it as an emotional serious actor. I weirdly enough couldn’t get the ‘who dunnit’ aspect of the story out of my head for weeks after watching. A bloody great time
