  i left this film with more questions than answers tbh. the animation is fine (the 2D scenes are much nicer than the 3D overall) but the plot is nearly incomprehensible and it also bridges so many sensitive topics like online grooming and child abuse in the worst ways physically possible. the half a star is because i liked the character design but even that was hard for me

  I've watched this movie since I was a little kid and it really shaped me into who I am today. Such a strong female lead and such gorgeous animation. I know it is a bit redundant to leave a review on any Ghibli movie since they are truly the pinnacle of animation and cinema, but Kiki in particular excels in showing young kids how powerful they can be as long as they stay strong and keep trying. Would highly recommend for young kids, but this film is perfect for people of all ages.
