Kinds of Kindness 2024
Sick and unnecessary. Maybe I am uncultured or maybe I am not familiar with Yorgos Lanthimos’s style. I don’t see this as “highbrow” or as clever as some other people might see it. The favorite was great, Poor things was disgusting and that is just wtf. I like weird things, I like mystery, I like crazy but honestly where are we actually going?

‘Women’ by Charles Bukowski but in Hong Kong and is not a tragicomedy.
I am amazed by how well Wong Kar-Wai captures female pain and loneliness. In my experience I have not come across a male director who understands what it feels like to be a woman. Admirations for that. Great movie!
