loses a lot of momentum once the tiny alien fighters are revealed, the incomprehensible giant terror of the alien ships were much more interesting to me. love judd hirsch here (and forever) and some very good performances from goldblum and smith. bit long.

inoffensive, definitely tones down the politics way too much - introduces CORE but then refuses to elaborate. tim’s performance is boring and he simply doesn’t have the face for characters such as this. monica barbaro and elle fanning were great though. edward norton playing pete seeger was… fine. hard not to see just edward norton though.
