Feels like I might change that grade, but going out of the theatre that’s how I feel. I loved the first part, was quite into the second part, enjoyed the third, really did not care for the epilogue (except the return of the hilarious Jason Schwartzman’s character). Also Drew Starkey’s not my type usually but Guadagnino really knows how to make people look incredibly sexy and alluring, so I completely understood Lee’s infatuation.

Bullet Train 2022
I actually laughed out loud three times. I think this movie has the tone and energy that I expected from Fall Guy.

American Fiction 2023
I liked the movie a bit better than the book, even though some changes didn’t really make sense to me. I love this kind of meta narratives, and I related a lot to Monk. Also I’m in love with Jeffrey Wright so I might be biased, but I loved seeing him as the starring role for once.

Winter of the Movies #13 : OSCAR WATCH.
Disappointing. I'm a fan of Martin McDonagh... or at least his movie In Bruges, which is, in my opinion, close to being perfect. Nothing is wasted in that film : every character introduced, every plot element or detail eventually pays off. There are crumbs of this storytelling in Three Billboards, or at least in the first part of the film. Unfortunately, the last act and conclusion ditch it and the movie loses…
